INVITATION TO JOIN THE EBA WORKING GROUP ON APICULTURE DATA

The European Beekeeping Association (EBA) is pleased to invite qualified experts and professionals to apply for membership in the Working Group on Apiculture Data

The purpose of this Working Group is to systematically collect, analyze, and share data on the beekeeping sector, honey production, and laboratory analyses conducted across Europe. By consolidating information on colony numbers, honey yields, quality parameters, and analytical results, the Working Group will support evidence-based policy-making, consumer protection, and the promotion of high-quality bee products throughout Europe.

The EBA welcomes applications from researchers, laboratory specialists, statisticians, representatives of beekeeping associations, and other professionals with relevant expertise in apiculture, honey analysis, food safety, and data management.

If you are interested in contributing to this important initiative, we kindly invite you to submit a brief application (maximum 300 words) to eba@ebaeurope.eu. Please include a statement of motivation, your area of expertise, and relevant professional or academic references.

Deadline for candidates to submit documentation March 1th.2026.

We look forward to strengthening the understanding and quality of European beekeeping through expert collaboration.
