Scientific Committee on Bee Health

Protecting the health of bee colonies in Europe through agro-ecological measures is one of the EBA’s core objectives. Our aim is to reduce bee colony mortality by fostering collaboration among beekeepers, farmers, veterinarians, and researchers. Through the exchange of knowledge and experience, the committee works towards improving practices related to spraying periods, insecticide and pesticide applications, disease prevention and control, and the proper handling of medications for bees.
