National Beekeeping League from Prishtina has confirmed that it is joining the European Beekeeping Association!

Decision on admission to EBA membership – beekeeping associations from territories not recognized by the United Nations.

EBA accepts members only from countries that are recognized by the United Nations and are located partially or entirely on the territory of geographical Europe. The EBA has an announcement of membership from European territories that are not recognized as states by the UN, and before they send a request for membership to the EBA, they should know that next to the name of their association in the places where the flag of the state is placed, only the flag of the home state can stand, and next to the name of the association, the name of the home country.  If the name of the territory appears in the name of the association, and not the name of the home state, that name must be written in quotation marks in all written and electronic EBA documents, followed by the name of the association and an asterisk at the end. In the event that the association from the mentioned territory not recognized by the UN does not want to accept what is written, it has the possibility that instead of the name of the home country, the name of any country or territory is not written, but only the city where the association is registered, and instead of the flag of the home country can only display a yellow flag. Beekeeping has no borders and that is the only reason why we want to gather all beekeepers from the European continent, and that’s the only reason we decided on this concession to beekeepers from unrecognized territories, so that they too could join the EBA.
